I had a wonderful stay at The Dilly, enjoying the fantastic service from the staff and the hotel's prime location close to major attractions. The spacious rooms were comfortable, though I wish there was a bit more variety in the dining options. Overall, it was a good experience, but a few minor issues kept it from being perfect.
Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and clean, with a large wardrobe and comfortable bed. However, it felt slightly dark as it was located at the rear of the hotel with small windows. While it lacked a coffee machine and mini bar, it still offered the essentials I needed.
Service
9.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout my stay. They quickly accommodated my requests and even upgraded my room for my special occasion, which I truly appreciated.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, situated within walking distance of many key attractions and theaters. This made it incredibly convenient to explore London and return easily with my shopping!
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed breakfast at The Terrace but found the vegan options a bit limited. The food was good quality overall and perfect for starting my day. I would have liked to have more dining options in the evenings though.
Facilities
8.0
The pool and gym were excellent facilities, allowing me to unwind after a day out. However, I did notice that the lounge area could have accommodated more loungers near the pool for relaxing.

My stay at The Dilly left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. On the plus side, the location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to all the key attractions. However, I faced several challenges, like the late check-in process and a room that just wouldn’t warm up. With the price tag on this place, I expected more consistent service and amenities overall.
Rooms
5.0
The room was massive, but it was freezing and poorly heated, making it uncomfortable during my stay.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly when attending to me, but overall, their attention to detail was lacking, especially during check-in.
Location
9.0
Cannot beat the location! Right by Piccadilly Circus, it made exploring the city super easy for me.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast at the Terrace wasn’t great — choices were limited and not replenished quickly, which was disappointing given the hotel’s prestige.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were nice but needed refreshing. The pool and gym are decent, but the overall vibe felt a bit tired.

My stay at The Dilly was mostly enjoyable, thanks to its fantastic location and wonderful staff. The comfort and cleanliness of the room were notable, but I did find the bathroom a bit outdated. Overall, it delivered a pleasant experience, perfect for exploring London.

The room was generally clean and comfortable, although the bathroom showed signs of age and could use some updates.

7.2/10
The location near Piccadilly Circus was a highlight of my stay, making it easy to explore key attractions. However, the service fell short of expectations, with a clear lack of attentiveness from the staff. While my room was spacious and had its perks, the overall condition left much to be desired, which was disappointing considering the premium price point.
Rooms
5.0
I was upgraded to a suite, but it had issues; the decor felt outdated and the bathroom was quite small and inconvenient for a family. The carpet was old, with a musty, damp smell lingering. not what I'd expect at this price.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. From check-in, I felt as if my presence was more of a nuisance than a welcoming experience. Requests for extra towels and other essentials were ignored despite multiple reminders. It seemed like the focus was more on the staff's convenience than on guest satisfaction.
Location
10.0
I can't fault the location; being so close to attractions, restaurants, and theaters was a definite win. It made it easy to spend more time enjoying London rather than commuting.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast offered some good options, and the hard-working staff at the breakfast station tried their best. yet the wait times for eggs were frustrating, and variety felt lacking compared to what I'd hoped for.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel boasted nice amenities like a pool and bar, my overall impression was that the facilities needed some serious upgrading to match what a luxury stay should feel like.

7.4/10
The Dilly boasts an excellent location near key attractions, making exploring London easy and enjoyable. However, my experience was marred by inconsistent service and tired room conditions. While I appreciated the Malen and Goetz bath amenities, the overall upkeep of the hotel felt subpar compared to expectations for a five-star hotel.
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and showed signs of wear, with creaky floorboards and limited storage options. The bathroom needed attention, particularly the outdated fixtures that struggled with water temperature.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were polite but lacked efficiency, leading to long waits at check-in and when requesting amenities. I felt that the overall attitude of some staff members could have been more welcoming and attentive.
Location
9.0
The Dilly's location is perfect for accessing popular attractions and transport, making it a central hub for my visit to the city.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to expectations. I found the breakfast options uninspired and the in-room dining service slow and disappointing. The food quality did not match what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Facilities
5.0
While the amenities included a decent pool and friendly welcome from staff, the overall quality of maintenance seemed lacking. The common areas were not always well-staffed or efficiently managed.
